The Terrace Garden

Texas Tech University Student Union Building, Lubbock, Texas

The Terrace Garden features water-wise plant materials,

drip irrigation, pedestrian seat walls and a distinctive

limestone terrace which reflects the architecture of the

Dining Pavilion at the SUB. 

Over 20,000 students pass through this garden each

day on their journey to the StudentUnion.  The

multi-purpose facility offers dining, banking, a post office,

campus information center, student government

offices, a bookstore and numerous other student services. 

On any given day you'll find students, faculty, staff and

visitors to Texas Tech enjoying this garden.
